What You’ll Learn…
The Art of Consultation
The key to a happy client is a great consultation. Your clients will remember how attentive you are when listening to them more than anything else you do during their appointment. Learning to listen to their needs whilst assessing factors of their lifestyle, how much time they like to spend on their hair, their face shape, skin tone, etc. This will put you in the best possible position to make constructive suggestions on what will work for that individual. It makes your life a great deal easier and enables you to set solid expectations for your client before you even begin.
The Rachel
The Rachel (or the long graduation for the technical term), is the friends classic. A long layered style that swept the globe. A classic technique that will never be far from the moment and a cult foundation of ladies hairdressing.
The Dupa Lipa
The Dua Lipa (or the long bob / lob) is a fairly recent style in terms of foundation cutting styles, however it’s a very now style that many clients request so it’s a must for brushing up on your modern cutting techniques.
The Victoria Beckham
The Victoria Beckham (graduated bob), originally developed in the early 1900s and given the necessary makeover by Vidal Sassoon in 1965, this haircut is a timeless cult classic. Arguably the most famous, and definitely the most innovative hairdresser of all time, the hairstyles created by Vidal will last until the end of time.
The Sarah Harding
The Sarah Harding (firefly), was a creation that decended from the graduated bob. By taking length and weight from the front and side sections, evolves this style into a more modern look.
The Jamie Lee Kurtis
Last but certainly not least we have the Jamie Lee Kurtis (or the pixie cut). A classic style originally made popular by actresses such as Audrey Hepburn, advocating non-conformity and empowerment.
